Cancelling an appointment

Cancellation Policy Notice

At Hire A Mrs Cleaning Service, we strive to provide a reliable and professional experience for all our clients. Because our cleaning slots are reserved specifically for you, late cancellations significantly impact our scheduling and staff.

Notice Period & Fees

• Standard Notice: Any cancellation or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled booking.

• Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booked clean will be charged a fee of 50% of the total clean cost.

Agreement

By booking a service, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. This fee ensures our team is compensated for their committed time and allows us to maintain the high standard of service you expect.

Need to reschedule? Please contact us as soon as possible to avoid any charges and to find a more suitable time for your home.

 

Do you supply the cleaning products and equipment?

We supply all the products.

We provide the necessary equipment, including mop, vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies and clean cloth’s and mop head’s.

What work can I expect to be done?

We are happy to assist with most household chores from basic cleaning and tidying to washing, ironing, oven cleaning, de cluttering and general housekeeping. We do not offer window cleaning as part of our service.

Do I need to be home during the service?

You are not required to be home; our cleaners are more than happy to work around your commitments. We can arrange a mutually convenient time before the first service to discuss your requirements and the equipment the cleaner will be using.

Is the person coming into my home screened?

Most definitely! Our cleaners can provide a current police check and drivers licence at your request. If you would feel more comfortable we can also provide references.

What payment method should I use?

Payment is by direct debit to Hire a Mrs or cash can be left with the cleaner on the day.

Can I change my cleaner if I am not satisfied with the service?

Yes most definitely, if you are not totally satisfied please phone Rebecca to discuss how we can provide a better service.

Are the cleaners covered with Public Liability?

Yes, all our cleaners are covered with Public Liability Insurance. This means you are protected from damage or injury to any person in your home caused by a Cleaner’s negligence. While we aim to provide as much care with your belongings as possible, in the event there is a breakage, you will have peace of mind that your home and belongings are covered. We do not recommend the cleaners move valuable ornaments while dusting or cleaning. Please ensure valuables that could potentially be damaged are away from areas near vacuuming, mopping etc…

Do I have to lock into regular cleaning?

Hire a Mrs offers a flexible service to work in with your busy lifestyle. Our services can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly or casual, available at your request.

Is one hour cleaning available?

Cleaning is set at a 2 hour minimum, however we can make allowances if the service falls in an area where cleaners will be working. Flexibility with the day and time will be required if you wish to take up this option. One hour cleaning is charged at an hourly rate of $38.00

What can I expect to be done in a regular two hour clean?

An average well-kept three bedroom, one-two bathroom home can generally be cleaned in a two hour time frame. This includes vacuuming, dusting and mopping.

If you also require your kitchen to be cleaned this normally falls into a two and half to three hour clean depending on the size of the home and the overall upkeep.

If your bathrooms/kitchen require scrubbing this will be a separate quote as this requires much more time, and generally the use of different chemicals.
